SMTP Configuration
This guide walks you through obtaining an app password for Gmail and setting up SMTP configuration in SaasCart.
Obtaining a Gmail App Password
To create an app password, you must enable 2-Step Verification on your Google Account. Follow these steps:
- Open a Web Browser: Go to https://www.google.com/account/about/.
- Sign In: Sign in to your Google Account.
- Navigate to Security Settings:
- In your Google Account, select Security.
- Click on 2-Step Verification and follow the prompts to enable it.
- Generate an App Password:
- After enabling 2-Step Verification, click on App Passwords.
- If you can’t find the option, use the search bar to locate it.
- Enter a name for your app and click Create.
- Copy the generated app password for later use.
Configuring the Mailer
In the Mailer Tab, you can choose any of the following options to set up your mailer configuration:
- Sendmail
- SMTP
- Mailgun

Testing the Mail Configuration
- Complete the Form: Ensure all required fields in the mail configuration form are filled out accurately to avoid errors.
- Send a Test Email:
- After filling out the configuration, click Send Test Mail to verify your setup.
